I received a $5 coupon in mail from best buy with the back to school catalog. When I tried to redeem the coupon online on the last day 8/11 in the morning (so no time zone issues), I didn't see the coupon applying on my card as the coupon said it would. I called customer service and was shuttled across representatives as they didn't know how to deal with the promotion.
For the record, the coupon just had a barcode which was my member ID that was supposed to be scanned if I tried to use the coupon in store. My question is why did you send me a catalog with my membership ID and everything when the coupon doesn't even show up when I try to checkout? In addition, why cannot anyone on the phone help me with a mailed promotional offer since they cannot see the targeted mailer and any offer that was sent out at their end?

That is certainly strange to hear. While coupons do expire at 11:00PM CST on the date of their expiration, if you did it the morning of then you shouldn't have had any issues. I'm more than happy to take a peek and see how we can get this resolved. Could you please shoot us over a private message with your full name, email address, and phone number? We'll continue our conversation via PM to keep your personal information safe.
