I was expecting to recieve Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Master Edition - PlayStation 4 on Friday, September 6, 2019 after placing it on pre-order. The item was scheduled to be delivered today, but I never recieved it. When I checked the tracking information this evening, it had a "The receiver does not want the product and refused the delivery." message.
I do not understand why this is the case. I did not recieve the package and was actually home at the time it was supposed to be delivered. But I really don't want it to be returned to the sender, so what should I do now?

A second status has been added of "The package was refused by the receiver and will be returned to the sender." around 8 PM, but in Columbus, KY?
The first attempt was in Columbus, OH (which is accurate), but now the process of returning the item is in the order information and I have no game.

I contacted UPS customer service over the weekend and received a reply. UPS Customer Support informed me that the package was identified damaged while in transit, and that is what caused the package not being delivered.
That clears up the confusion, but I am still concerned about receiving my order. Will the damaged package be replaced? Will I receive a refund? I have no idea. But I'd much rather receive the game I ordered.

As a gamer myself, I put quite a few hours (more than I care to admit) into Monster Hunter World so I was pretty excited to hear that an expansion was coming out! While I have yet to check it out personally, I have heard some great things so far. With that being said, I'm disheartened to hear that the copy you had pre-ordered has been damaged in transit.
