Samsung Galaxy Note 10 + pick up is being delayed and the customer support would not help

Hello,

 

I ordered the Samsung Ggalaxy Note 10+ Aura on 8/24 (removed per forum guidelines) and the pick up ready date at that time was 8/27.

 

In the morning on 8/27, the website changed its status to 'preparing for the product.' Thus, I was getting ready for a pick-up accordingly. In the afternoon on 8/27, the website changed its status to 'delayed' without any estimated pick up date.

 

The website also says that my order will be automatically canceled if the order is not fulfilled by 9/26. I paid up my remaning installments for the previous cell phone to get this product and my mobile carrier is also getting ready for a new installment plan with the activiation fee. I asked the Best Buy customer service rep not to cancel my order even if it would not be fulfilled till 9/26 just because I would lose all the promotional benefit if I cancel and the delay is caused not by me.

 

However, all the Best Busy Reps whom I talked to said that there was nothing they could do about it and they would not guarantee fulfillment of my order. I was told that I just needed to keep checking my email. But they will surely cancel my order after 9/26.

 

Can anyone resolve the issue? First, I would like to know when my order will be fulfilled. Sencond, even if the order will not e ready by 9/26, I would like to keep waiting.

Thank you for registering with the forum, though I wish it were under better circumstances. I just upgraded my phone a few months ago, so I know how exciting getting a new phone is, much less with an awesome release like the Samsung Galaxy Note10.

Please also be aware that most orders do come with an automatic cancellation date should they not be fulfilled within a certain time frame.

If I'd known that the pick up date would be not be honored and there would be no further updates, I would have not even placed an order.

Ordering a cell phone is a lot more complicated than ordering other appliances. I placed an order and went through all the necessary step with carriers as well because Best Buy displayed a specific pick up date. If Best Buy did not have enough in stock, the date for, it must have been 'out of stock' or 'back order' on the website so that customers would not have been mislead.

I still think, at least, Best Buy should extend my auto cancellation date. Or, Best Buy must let me reorder the product with exactly the same condition/promotion when it is cancelled. Can anyone do that?
