Not sure if I'll get anywhere here but I'm going to give it a try. I took advantage of the Pre-Order for the "Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ 512gb" version and placed the order back on 8/14. Its now 14 days later and I show my order still "In Progress" status.
1. I've called Best Buy customer service and the representative told me that the problem is Samsung for the Delay.
2. I've stopped into a store and was provided that the delay is both Best Buy and Samsung's fault.
3. I've called my phone carrier as I was thinking about cancelling my order all together and going directly through my Carrier. I was informed by them that the phone is a Special Order through them but I would have the phone in 3 to 5 days.
4. I've now reached out to Samsung Sales directly to see what they can tell me and I just might buy the phone directy from them; if I can get the phone quicker then my Carrier.
So, what I am trying to find out is the truth as to what is going on. I've received NO Updates from Best Buy via E-Mail on what is going on with my purchase(s), as Best Buys "On-Hold" recording states I would.
Can someone please tell me what is actually going on? Should I cancel my order with Best Buy and go back to my Carrier so that I can actually get the phone in 3 to 5 days? I don't want to but if Best Buy can't provide me with some kind of update on when I will get the phones, then I should just cancel this purchase. I'm paying for a Geek Squad coverage for 2 phones I don't even have. I'm also being "Tormented" by Best Buys automated E-Mail system asking me repeatedly, How I'm enjoying my new phone & to Reveiw a phone I don't even have.
