Just to clarify, was this a Store Pickup or a Ship to Home order? Both were mentioned in your post, so I wasn't sure.
According to the chart about halfway down this page, it looks like Best Buy Credit Cards typically take about 5-7 days to be refunded after an order is cancelled or a purchase is returned. If this was a Store Pickup order and you never actually received the item, my understanding is that your card was only authorized and not actually charged; so, if that's the case, the authorization should drop off soon. Otherwise, I'd expect your refund to be appearing pretty soon.

Hello, on Dec 3rd I purchased a laptop on bestbuy.com to be picked up at the store. I used mybestbuy credit card and I cancelled the order on Dec 6th before the laptop shipped because I wanted to switch to a different one. I was told the refund would take up to 7 days to complete but now it's been three weeks and not only has the refund still not gone through but now I am getting billed for my first monthly payment. I don't understand how I am being billed when the transaction was never completed as I never picked up the laptop and cancelled the order before it shipped. If I understand correctly, since I never picked up the item my credit card should have not been charged but only authorized for the payment. I was hoping to recieve the refund and purchase a different laptop from the same best buy store but it is worrying that I am being charged for an item I never recieved on an order that I cancelled.
Any help would be appreciated, I don't want to start paying these monthly payments and possibly not be refunded for those either, but I also don't want to avoid the payments and possibly hurt my credit.

Welcome to the forum, and thank you for connecting with us regarding your cancelled order! Receiving a bill for an item that was never picked up would leave me scratching my head as well. I'm glad you've reached out to check on this! When shopping on BestBuy.com, we typically do not charge the form of payment until the order is fulfilled, except when paying via PayPal. With that said, customers may see a temporary charge, an authorization or pending charge, when the order is placed which is to ensure the funds are available. With Store Pickup orders, the order would be considered fulfilled once ready to be picked up. If this hadn't shipped, it would be odd for you to be charged. Even so, once cancelled, such charges should be reversed.
