Received delivery confirmation email, but didn't receive package! Please advise

Hello- I create an account to ask this question. I ordered some earbuds earlier this week and accidentally ordered them to my old apartment. I quickly realized my mistake, and switched the order to be to my new address. The website said that it updated, and the shipping address changed on my order status page. However, today it said that my package was delivered at 2PM, and when I got home from work, nothing was there! The regular mail had been delivered, but there was nothign from best buy. Should I just wait it out? Might they have shipped it to the previous address? Please advise.

I would suggest driving over to your old apartment and knocking on the door and explaining what happened.

 

I would hope they would say yes we got them, here is your package, sorry we opened it.

Hey Bobby - thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, I went over to the mail room at my old apartment, and they hadn't received anything. They always file packages when they get them as well, so I'm pretty sure they would have let me know if they'd had it anyways. Are there any best buy employees that are on here? Could you get in contact with me? Would love to resolve this any way I can.
