I have this issue as well.  I can't log in, but I get emails about being an elite member and when I buy at the store they can get my account and link the purchase.  When I try to reset, it doesn't recognize my email address even though its the email address I get mybestbuy correspondance from.

Thank you for sharing the requested information. 

 

To begin, I recommend the following troubleshooting steps:

 

  • Sign out of your BestBuy.com account on all devices (e.g., computer, mobile phone, et al.)
  • Disable any ad blocking or virtual private network (VPN) software add-ons that you may be using
  • Clear your browser cache, cookies, and temporary internet files
  • Close your browser and relaunch it

 

This should resolve most issues like the one you're describing. If after following all these steps you are still unable to login, please be sure to let me know.

As far as I know I am logged out of all devices. I’ve tried logging on multiple browsers as well as restarting my PC multiple times. Can we confirm my account is active?

Thank you for your message. 

 

Your My Best Buy membership is active. My Best Buy memberships or BestBuy.com accounts are generally only "retired" after long periods of non-use. 

 

You didn't mention whether you have tried the recommended troubleshooting. Please remember to perform the recommended browser maintenance for all browsers you have used. Please note: restarting your PC will not impact your stored browser information.

Thank you for your message and for your indulgence. I know how much we all hate troubleshooting stuff and the seemingly inane requests that go along with it; you've been a good sport and your efforts are appreciated.

 

I enlisted someone with more expertise on this than me and, while we were able to confirm that your My Best Buy membership is active, we cannot confirm the existence of your BestBuy.com account. Memberships and website accounts are tightly tied together nowadays and I mistakenly did not look at both. I apologize for any inconvenience you endured at my behest.

 

At this point I recommend that you create a new account on BestBuy.com. You should be prompted during the creation process to link your My Best Buy membership; please follow the steps to do so.

I had the same issue but it was resolved. I think you download the google chrome by Chinese version. Just uninstall google chrome. and install the google chrome for English Version from google website. then it will allow you to login your bestbuy. it took me two hours to fix it...
