Price Match

I was told I had a longer timeframe for a price match on something I purchased from


I've been monitoring the price every day on major retail oulets online since I purchased the item and on Monday 9/23/19 the price showed as being lower on your website. I was told to do this price match on a Best Buy chat so I talked to an Eddy A. and then his supervisor Jonathan S. Jonathan said he could issue reward certificates but I just wanted the refund of the price difference. He said to call #1-888-237-8289 for a credit.


I called the previously mentioned number twice and the first time I was hung up on after the representative said she would look into this further.  The second time I called I was told they couldn't process a credit and I asked to speak with a supervisor and then all I got was dead air/silence on the call. I held on the call but no one ever came back and the representative never called me back as she promised in the event that we got disconnected from one another.

Welcome to the Best Buy Forums! I’m a big fan of our Price Match Guarantee (PMG) as well, so I can appreciate another savvy shopper. 

Just for clarification, if we lower our in-store or online price during the return and exchange period, we will match our lower price, upon request. This window is 15 days on most products for most members, 30 days for My Best Buy Elite members, and 45 days for My Best Buy Elite Plus members.
