Price Match Still Not Processed by Backend Team



I requested and was approved for a price match for an online purchase made on Monday 8-5-19. I was told since the value was over $250 it would need to be approved by the backend team as well and that I'd receive an email within 48 hours to confirm. It is now 8-15-19 and I have not heard a single thing and no refund for the difference has been sent back to my Best Buy Card. 


Any insight as to how long this process takes? The item I purchased is now on sale directly through Best Buy as well. It's $80 more than the price match I requested, but the value is less than $250 so I'd even take that if it meant it would process faster.


I do not want to risk hitting my return window date (8-22) and then being denied for some reason and being stuck overpaying for this product. I will have to just return the item all together before that happens, but I'd really like to just get the price match processed before that point to avoid the hassle for everyone involved. Please advise. Thanks.
