Package missing, and was mislead in store

I ordered a new pc to replace my current one and package said it arrived around 12pm, arrived home at 3pm and package was not there. Signature was not required and there wasn't anywhere to request it during order. I called the store and they said high value products will require a signature usually especially in problem areas. Knowing I have had packages go missing before I figured a signature would be required. But that was not the case, I called customer service and submited a claim, and they said they concluded the investigation and that they will not refund or replace the package. This is disapointing becuase not only am I out $1100 but Fedex is no help becuase the package was sent without a signature requirment according to their customer service and the package was shipped in a way that revealed its contents. Very disastisfied with the service from best buy lately. In the future will be spending money else where.

We appreciate you thinking of Best Buy for the recent purchase. Receiving notification of a delivery, only to come home to find it missing, would lead me to seek out support as well. There is a process involved when customers find themselves in these circumstances, and you mentioned that an investigation has already been completed for this shipment. If that is the case, then working with local law enforcement to report the merchandise as stolen may be the best route to take.
