Ordered Online --- 1 Month Delay?

Hello, my name is Colton and I'm not too sure about my situation with a recent order I made. I ordered the Acer Nitro 5 online and it said it was to ship to my house on the 5th this But just this morning, I received a text message that my order could be delayed for an entire month. Until October 5th! And if it hasn't shipped by then, that the order would be cancelled. If there's anyone who can help me get to the bottom of this, please do. I really don't want to waste an entire month waiting for my order, that at worst could get cancelled entirely.
