I placed an pick up order using two giftcards and my card, at 4:32 PM EST and instantly received and cancellation within 15 seconds after getting a confirmation text. The item I wanted to buy for instore pickup became unavailable the exact moment I placed my order apparently. I read on the BESTBUY.COM FAQ website that cancelled orders with giftcards should return to their balance within 30 minutes of the cancellation and checking the balance of the cards it is still $0.00. Its extremely fustrating since I wanted to reorder the item and get it shipped but I didn't get my giftcard balance back. Why process a order that wasn't even available and hold my balance for I dont even know how long and if the item I ordered will even be available anymore. There are many sites I could have ordered from but I have giftcards for this store and am instantly starting to regret ordering from BestBuy.

Learned my lesson and will never be using bestbuy.com or buying from their retail store ever again.
An item that said available for instore pick up should be "available", immediately after getting confirmation I get a cancellation saying item not available. Used two giftcards for this order. Website states cancellations with giftcards should be reimbursed within 30 minutes. Let me remind you, this is not a manual cancellation it was automated immediately after I placed my order and my payments were charged immediately. It said they refund my payment now.
I spoke to over MUTIPLE different agents with different "solutions" none of which resolved my issue. Have 3 cases open for this order. Nothing resolved.
Agent 1-3: Wait 24 hours
Agent 4: Wait 24-48 hours - given a case # to call to get escalted
Agent 5: (48 hours pass) Was forwarded to an automated machine with no answer
Agent 6: Says "Last agent gave you wrong number- gives another number)
Agent 7: (Cashstar support) "We see that your giftcards were processed, no refund has been sent"
Agent 8: 24-48 hours is false, wait 8 days to "verify" my BEST BUY GIFTCARD(S).
I placed my order for store pick-up to be able to get the same day. Now i'm FORCED to wait 8 days for a error completely on best buy's part for processing an item that said AVAILABLE that instantly "no longer available".
Ridiculous. I will never shop here again.
