No refund from Bestbuy after my orders canceled

I ordered steelbooks from bestbuy using debit card for $385 in July. The order canceled by Bestbuy in August. They said they will refunded my money. I have called bestbuy for several times. They said i should call my bank, but my bank still haven't got that amount of money. So where is my money bestbuy? Help me to get my money back! Thanks. Welcome back to the Best Buy Community forums. That's a lot of money to have tied up for a cancelled order.

 

We do not charge credit cards on cancelled orders. We do place an authorization hold on the card, however. You can find some common time frames for hold releases here. None should be several months long.

 

If your bank isn't releasing the hold, I would escalate back to them. If they say they need more information from us to release it,  please send in a private message through the link in my signature. Please let me know your name, email address, and phone number, along with the information the bank is requesting.

 

I'll ask that you please not include any account numbers in that message.
