No order number

A family member ordered a pair of headphones for my birthday and had them shipped directly to me. The headphones recently broke and are still under warranty. In order to return them I need a proof of purchase. I dont have an order number and the family member has passed away. How would I get a proof of purchase?

Re: No order number

Unfortunate as all this is, if you broke your headphones you cannot return them.  The return period would only have been 14 days.

If they broke through some sort of manufacturers defect you will need to contact the manufacturer for warranty support.

In order to get proof of purchase you would need the buyers credit card and photo id.  However, from what you wrote this may not be possible.

Re: No order number

Thank you for the reply. I was hoping since I have the original box it shipped in I would be able to find the order number.

Re: No order number

Hello, Lazarus65,

Thank you for posting!

I appreciate you taking the time to write us regarding your headphones. As, bobberuchi mentioned, if they are outside of our Return & Exchange Promise, you won’t be able to return them to the store. However, you may be able to work with the manufacturer. Regarding the proof of purchase, due to our Privacy Policy, if the purchase is not in your name, we are not able to discuss any aspects of the purchase with you. I understand this may be a bit inconvenient, however, we do everything we can to keep our customer’s information safe. I hope the manufacturer is able to help.

Kind regards,
