Need Help With Death Stranded Order

Placed order for pick up at the store for the Collectors edition of Death Stranding. ({removed per forum guidelines}).

Woke up the next day to Best Buy cancelling order. Lack of stock.

 

Placed order ({removed per forum guidelines}) For Ship to store and pick up there. 10 Min later get BB Cancelled email

 

Placed order ({removed per forum guidelines})  Ship to house. Place order..10 min later BB cancelled.

 

Placed order ({removed per forum guidelines}) Tried Ship to store again. 10 Min Later BB cancelled order.

 

It is not a CC issue. This is a Best Buy gift card with more than enough funds.

 

From what i see after reading some of the forums it seem after a cancellation, like that happened with my first order, no more orders may be allowed.

 

Can this issue be fixed before before you run out of stock online?

Welcome to our community. I order quite a bit online and there is nothing more frustrating to me than a cancelled order, especially if it's for an exciting new release. Certainly having the cancellation become part of your morning routine was not our original objective and I regret your having to cope with this situation.

Just tried to pick up a Microsft Elite 2 controller also today and same thing happend .

{removed per forum guidelines}
Insane. Said 3 in stock when ordered before store opened. Wait 2 hrs to be told it not?  WTH

Well, Thanks for nothing. You were a waste of time. Even tho I sent you the info you requesed by private message within 5 min of your request you never got back and now its sold out online.

 

What a dissapointment.

Thank you for your message. I regret the apparent tardiness of my reply.

 

I was able to review your orders. The original orders were placed the day before or the day of release and both were cancelled due to insufficient inventory to fill your order. I realize this is severely disappointing and for that I most sincerely apologize.

 

In future and if possible, I would recommend placing your pre-orders farther in advance of release day to help ensure they can be fulfilled without issue.

 

Please know I am grateful you wrote to us with your concerns.

OK, What about all the other orders i could not due due to the way your system is set up?

 

I can understand the low volume on the pre order. What about your system not allowing me to order again for home delivery?  Why did you not fix that?

 

You did nothing and your reply is fustrating that you did as little as possibe.

 

You could have fixed this. You did not.

 

OH, and was i not able to get this due to your lack of effort and I am out 40 bucks because i had my Gamer Club discount.

 

I hope you treat other people better than you did me.

I'm sorry indeed to hear that you feel this way.

 

As regards the other orders, it appears that they were caught by our system automation--as you mentioned they might have been in your original message--and cancelled as they were placed only moments apart. 

 

Since you were able to place a new order successfully after the cancellations this does not indicate a problem with our order management system. That order--for a different item--was cancelled due to insufficient inventory, not our system automation.

 

I hope this helps. If you have orders cancelled in the future, please let us know and we'll be happy to review them for you at that time.

What order was I able to do sucessuffly?   None. What are you talking about?
