Hairline crack on switch screen

Hi! I ordered a Nintendo switch from the Best Buy website two weeks ago. Upon receiving my switch, there was a hairline crack on the screen. Would it be possible to exchange for another switch? Thanks for the help!

Re: Hairline crack on switch screen

Good morning, bwummer,

Welcome to our forum and thanks for taking the time to reach out with your question. I love my Nintendo Switch, and know that I would expect to receive an undamaged product when I order from, as well. Happily, we do have options for customers who may have received products damaged during shipping as you can see at the link here.

If a product is damaged during shipping, we ask that customer return it during their return and exchange time-period, which is typically 15 days for most customers and products. This time-period begins the day the product is received. Some customers may have extended timeframes for return of many items if they are Elite or Elite Plus My Best Buy Members. See more about these timeframes and other aspects of our return processing by reviewing the Return & Exchange Promise.

For the fastest processing on a return or exchange, it’s best to head into your local Best Buy store. If you’re unable to go in store, you can also look at the option to return via mail. Typically, if someone is interested in an exchange but they want to do it via mail, calling (888) BEST-BUY to speak to a representative is their fastest option to get started. That being said, I’d also be happy to speak to you about that possibility here. To start review of your order, I’ll just need your full name, phone number, email address, and order number; please use the “private message” option to ensure your information stays secure.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.
