Did not receive confirmation order with guest check out

I pre-ordered the nintendo switch lite online on September 8th, but did not receive a confirmation email even after waiting more than 48 hours from when I placed the order. I checked my junk mail as well and it wasn't there. I know that the order went through because I received an email from paypal saying that I had a pending transaction. I called best buy customer support, but they claimed that since I did not order through a best buy account, they could not do anything about it. They told me to wait it out, but I feel uneasy with just waiting and hoping that something will arrive in the mail...

Pre-ordering is a great way to snag one of these colorful Nintendo Switch Lites! Thank you for choosing Best Buy for your purchase and for sharing your ordering experience with us. Usually, order confirmations should be sparked within 24 hours of placing your order. I understand how concerning it would be to not receive one, but then noticing a transaction on your PayPal account.

 

According to our Payment Methods help guide an authorization hold will be placed on your credit or debit card when you place an order. Your account will not actually be billed until your order is shipped or picked up at the store. However, PayPal is typically an exception to this rule and you’d be charged immediately. Can you please verify the status of your payment currently with PayPal? We’d be happy to search on our end for your order number to see if we can locate it. If were not able to, we’d like to investigate this a bit further. Please send us a private message with your full name, phone number, email address and which Nintendo Switch Lite you choose. A private message can be sent to me by choosing the blue “Private Message” button next to my name at the bottom.
