Delivery status says complete however I have not received my product.

I had ordered a MAG321CQR on Sunday from my local store and it was not currently in stock so the associate informed it would be shipped out. Stated that expected date was Aug 19th so I had agreed to ship it to my house as from the 16th-23rd I will be off work a d able to sign and receive the monitor. Well, I received an email stating that it was expected Tuesday the 13th from ups with tracking # and all the fun stuff however, I work from 8am-8pm on some days and can not take off specially when I already have vacation scheduled. Subsequently I received another email from UPS stating that the package had been delivered around 2:10pm est on the 13th and started scrambling to get ahold of someone to go retrieve it since it is not a terrible area that I live in but there is a lot of foot traffic. When i got home around 8:30pm est there was no package or note on the door stating that anything had been delivered, all I had was the email stating it was left at the front door. I have no idea how to handle this situation and through UPS' website to file a claim it had pushed for the shipper to start the case. I need help trying to figure out the next steps to get this figured out. If not I am out $400.
