Re: Complaint regarding restocking fee

Ok so per restocking fee, it has to be bought & returned in the same state to not be charged a restocking fee. It was opened, so now it will be an open box item. Had you not opened it, then it would be different. The restocking fee rules clearly state bought and returned in same state!

Re: Complaint regarding restocking fee

If you ordered it after 2016, then yes there is a restocking fee. If you returned it to a store, it is up to that GM is wave the fee. Im a former employee and I was one questioning why we didnt have a restocking fee, they need to add them to tvs as well. You cant spend lets say $500 to see if you like it, then return it and Best Buy takes a hit just cause you wanted to test an item. If $60 was a big deal, then you wouldn’t have bought a camera to begin with.

Re: Complaint regarding restocking fee

I wouldn’t have bought it from Best Buy if I were aware of this charges before. That’s the problem.
