Cancelling a Laptop Order Not Possible

I ordered a Dell laptop and was supposed to receive it today, 1/16/20.  I received an email it would be delayed for a month.  When I called to cancel, I was told I cannot.  So now I have to have $1300 charged to my credit card and go else where to spend another $1300 on my credit card.  This seems to be if not illegal, just a horrible policy.

 

I will never purchase any expensive items from BB again.  There are plenty of other sources for computers and other items that will have fair and responsive customer care.

 

I was a loyal customer for years.  That is over with.

Go into the store instead of calling

Welcome to our community forums. Having any order delayed is never ideal, especially for as long as a month. As our phone agents may have mentioned we are typically only able to cancel order within 30 minutes of it being placed.
