Cancelled Order with issue in Awaiting authorization 3 months past no refund to giftcard yet

I placed an order on July 15th, it was cancelled and had an issue in Awaiting autorization. I thought my money will be refund to gift card automatically, but after 3 months, I checked the balance of the gift card, the money does not refund yet! Can anybody knows how to fix it? I talked to a specialist about this issue, but she just said need time to let giftcard department figure out... Does anyone have the same issue?

 

I am crazy, it has been nearly 3 months!

As most authorizations associated with cancelled orders should fall off within 3 to 5 business days, it’s alarming to hear you’re still waiting for a gift card refund three months later! I’m sure you simply just want to be able to use it, so I appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

 

If I had to guess, I’d say there’s most likely some sort of system glitch at fault. Without viewing your specific order though, I’m a bit hard pressed to determine the exact cause of the problem.
