Best Buy is robbing me

This has been nothing but a nightmare. Two weeks ago I ordered an iPhone Pro Max, they shipped me out the wrong item (I guess someone else’s order) it was a portable charger. I contacted customer service right away, after waiting on hold for literally 3 hours then said to sent them the item back and they will issue me a refund, once they got the item I called back waiting another 2 hours on the phone just for them to tell me they’re shipping the portable charger back to me. Then spoke to another customer service representative, she apologized for what happened and said she’s sending my case to a different department, and then that department literally emails me 1 min later
“This e-mail is in response to the issue you reported for order # {removed per forum guidelines}.

We’ve concluded our investigation and have determined we will not be providing a refund or replacement item .

At this time, we encourage you to work with the carrier and/or local law enforcement regarding this matter”


I know the item wasn’t tampered with because they sent it to me inside a sleeve plastic bag, and everything was fine.

Now they’re telling me I’m stuck paying $1249.99 for something I did not receive, when they sent me an item that cost about $30.

Everyone I spoke to from the beginning insisted I would get my refund or a reshipment, and no one wants to do anything. The supervisors are rude and make you wait on hold for hours before they get on the phone hoping you get tired of it and hang up.

I will never do any business with bestbuy again and will be closing my charge account.

While I wish you had discovered us under better circumstances, we appreciate you taking the time to share this with us. Getting a new phone is a big deal, so we're honored that you decided to place your order with us. That said, as someone who likes to keep a close eye on my packages, I can imagine how disappointed I would be if my package finally arrived, only to have it be the wrong product.

So they couldn’t help me in this forum after private messaging me, so I’m out of $1249.99. Thanks Best Buy. I’ll be sure to leave bad reviews every website possible and reach high as possible to get this issue resolved. I honestly can’t believe a big company like this is doing this to the consumer.

I hope you initated a chargeback on your credit card.  Let your CC company take care of this and fight best buy and fed-ex for you.

Fighting my credit card won’t do anything because they only charged me $75 for the tax on my credit card, I’m paying for the phone on my at&t bill which can’t be corrected unless Best Buy Contact’s them. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had in my life.

Oh then contact att they'll report the imei as stolen and should send you a new phone
