I pre ordered an apple watch on 9/18 for pickup on 9/22. When I got to the store they said they hadn't opened up the shipment yet and they would let me know when it was ready for pickup. Now I get an email saying that it is delayed with no timeline for delivery. It also says that if they can't deliver by 9/29 they will cancel the order.

I'm getting the same run around from my Best Buy store. Most of the employees at my store didn't even know there was a delay. No one at Best Buy will tell you anything and I have not recieved an email from Best Buy letting me know there is a delay.

Pre-orders are fulfilled in the order they’re received, and I’m sorry to hear you haven’t been provided a new expected get it by date for your order via email yet.
While reviewing your order again I noticed some further information that may helpful to fulfilling your order sooner. I spent 30 frustrating minutes on the phone with BB customer service and learned two things: 1) they have no idea when the Apple watches will arrive and 2) they have no plans to send out status updates so you have to sit in the dark for a month with no idea if your order will cancelled or fulfilled.
