This is an abolute joke. You can go on the website right now, order the AirPods Pro and have them delivered on Tuesday at no extra cost or Monday if you pay for faster shipping. However, an order that was already placed yesterday with paid shipping to have it delivered today is delayed to who knows when.
To top it all off, the customer service is absolutely horrible in a situation like this. They can't explain why something like this happens. There is no personal service whatsoever, and the chat agents will only give the same canned answers over and over again which shows that they really don't care about the customer.
Very disappointed in Best Buy

Yup, same here. Order was supposed to be delivered today, I have a tracking number but no Airpods. Called into customer service and was told that "any Apple product that you buy from Best Buy will be delayed". She ws literally making it up as she went on the call. Told me to sit tight and it would arrive eventually.

So I ordered my Airpods Pro on November 4th, and was told that it'd arrive November 6th, and after yesterday I was informed that it was delayed, and might not be here untill December 7th, which I would be out of the US that day, and I was not provided the option to cancel my order nor see when might it arrive the soonest. Is there anyway I can know the exact date of deliver? Or else just cancel it so I can order it elsewhere?

I have had the same issue and BestBuy has had no answer other than they are delayed. Still no response on when I will get them other than if they don't ship within the month they will be cancelled.

I'm sure all of you are excited to receive your AirPods Pro orders, and we certainly want to make sure that you have them in your hands as soon as possible. We are working as quickly as possible to get the necessary inventory to fill these orders, but we are not able to provide any more information that what you can view in your order details about when they will arrive.
Please continue to watch your order details for updates, and we appreciate your patience.

I did end up getting mine. They were delivered on the 6th instead of the 5th. I must have gotten my order in just before the larger delay happened. Unfortunately for Best Buy I will be returning them over this whole situation. I had to drive an hour, but I found an Apple Store with them in stock on the 5th after nobody could tell me when Best Buy would be delivering my item. Had someone just said "they will arrive tomorrow" all would have been fine.
Just to be clear, I have no issues with a delay if its properly communicated. My issue with Best Buy these days is that they tend to oversell their inventory on high demand items (Apple). Once something is delayed, the tier 1 reps that take the calls have no idea. To make things worse, they spread lies and misinformation just to get people off the phone. On top of all this, once the delay is finally acknowledged Best Buy tends to take the approach of "you just have to wait, so deal with it" instead of allowing customers to cancel orders and go with another vendor.
This will be the last Apple product I purchase from Best Buy. Ive been an Elite Plus member for years and have continued to give Best Buy my business and money because 8 times out of 10 they come through. Often times quicker and/or cheaper than Apple does. But this bait and switch tactic on locking customers into purchasing from Best Buy based on some made up delivery times needs to stop. I completely understand that things happen, but it happens time and time again and Best Buy doesn't really seem to care. I guess when you have little competition in the brick and motar market you don't have to apologize, you just keep doing what you have to in order to make that money.
