My name is randy {removed per forum guidelines} I live at {removed per forum guidelines}.
If you like you can go look at the amount of stuff I have purchased thru your stores over the years
early this year I purchased a laptop for my grandson. a few months fter the purchase something
happened I took it to the store and just picked up another no hassel today I carried it back aand let me tell you
I am not happy at all..they said I didn't have the first one but ten days. I know better then that I had the tickets in my hand.long story short I said ok he;s not happy with the performance of this one so maybe we can just trade it in...boy did I get a surprise only offered me 130.00 dollars for 2400; dollar computer..that he don't like anyway. so I had to send it off my geek squad....now my grandson is very upset he is on a lot of meds so we try to keep him calm with his chrons and the flare ups he has...I try to explain things the way they happen but haard with his artism….hee just wanted one that works great.. like the I buy desk top2080

Thank you for visiting us here on our community forums. I know that buying a new computer is no small purchase so I can understand wanting to make sure your grandson gets one that he likes. We offer a 15-day Return & Exchange Promise for most of the products we sell. It sounds like you purchased this some time ago, is that correct? Is there anything that we can assist you with at this time? Please let us know, we're happy to look in to what options might be available.

yes it has been about 6 months when i purchased laptop but i had broght it back once they exchanged it no problem then this time they said we need to send thru geek squad...then the lady said last time it was within the 15 days..ifit was within that time why did i have to pay for another extended policy.,,,the whole thing sounds like policy change when ever it suits the company...tell you how good a customer i am spent another 2400 dollars today..and they still have my laptop...ithink the wat it works the cusstomer neveris right

Thank you for getting back to us with this information, Randy,

 

As Andrew has mentioned, we do offer a 15-day return/exchange period for most products, should you find your purchase is not meeting your needs.  If a Geek Squad Protection (GSP) plan is purchased for your laptop, and you decide to return or exchange your laptop, the original GSP will be cancelled, and you’ll be refunded for your GSP.  Should you then decide to exchange for a different laptop, a new GSP will need to be purchased, if you’d like to have the replacement laptop covered by GSP. 

 

While we’ll be unable to offer a return or exchange six months after your laptop was purchased, I am optimistic our Geek Squad will be able to resolve any issues your laptop is having.

well i ve been trying to tell you if the last time i brought my laptop in nd if still under warranty like i was told then why didi have to buy another plan.....

Welcome back, Randy,

 

From what you’ve described, it sounds like the original laptop you purchased was exchanged for the one you have now.  If this is the case, your previous GSP would be cancelled, as it covered your original laptop, and a new GSP would need to be purchased, if you wanted the new laptop to be protected by a GSP.
