Terrible experience buying washer/dryer

I bought a washer/dryer at Best Buy on Black Friday and the experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. A little over a week after I purchased it, I got an email from my credit card company, not Best Buy, saying that my dryer order had been cancelled. I tried calling the store and could never get an answer. I then went to the store and had to repurchase the dryer. I went back to the store later that day to try and go ahead and get delivery set up for my washer. When the sales associate pulled up my order he was unable to set up a delivery time and said there was still a problem with my dryer order. He said he would put a “ticket” in and get back with me. He told me that I would still be able to get my washer delivered approximately a week after this date. I never heard anything for a few days and tried called multiple times with no answer. So I went back to the store again and he said he would get the washer set up for delivery by the Friday of that week, this was a tuesday or Wednesday that I went in. He also said he was putting in another “ticket” for my dryer. Friday came and went and I never heard anything. So I went back to the store this past Sunday. I spoke with the same people I’ve been speaking to all along. He said he didn’t know why my washer hadn’t been delivered. He went and looked in the back and said it was there but my name wasn’t on it. He then went on to look up the rest of my order and there was still a problem with the dryer. He said he had to return something and was going to put some money on a gift card and give it to me. So he did this and gave me the gift card stating that I could have it because of all the trouble I’ve had. He then said he needed the gift card back to return all of my order and start all over again. So he took the gift card back and returned my whole order onto it and kept it. He said he was having someone else look at it and would call me by Monday night. By Tuesday I had heard nothing so I called the main Best Buy number first who stated that I don’t even have an order placed currently. So I then called the store and he told me they were still working on it and he would call me back. I have yet to hear anything again.

I’ve always loved shopping at Best Buy. The customer service has always been some of the best and that’s why I keep going back. This current experience has been awful. It’s been over a month since I placed my order and as of right now I apparently don’t even have an order placed. I would really appreciate any kind of help or answers because I feel like I’m getting no where in the store.

Welcome to our forums.  I apologize for the delay in our response, as our Support Forums have become a bit backlogged during this busy holiday season.  It sounds like you’ve waited quite a while up to this point, and I appreciate your patience.  With that said, I’ll be happy to address your concerns, and offer you any additional assistance I can.

 

You’ve mentioned working with store leadership regarding this issue, and as of your initial post on 12/21, you had yet to hear back regarding your order.  As it’s been over a week since posting to our forums, have you heard back from store leadership regarding this order?  Please let me know what progress has been made,if any, and what additional help you need from me, and I'll be happy to proceed accordingly.

I have heard back but it still seems like nothing has changed. I have been told multiple times that they are just going to cancel and redo my order but as of right now I’m pretty sure I still do not have an order placed and it has been almost 2 months now since my original purchase.
