Someone stealing digital copy?

So a while back I purchased the big labowski on blu ray from bestbuy. Was wrapped in what looked like rewrapped plastic. Didn't have that normal wrap to it. When I went to add the digital copy it to my vudu it said code had already been used but was able to add it to my ITunes account. didn't really think anything else about it. Fast forward a few months when I purchased your highness. Came in same kind of wrapping and when I opened it it had no digital copy paper at all. Does best buy repackage and sell used blu Ray/dvd's as new?

Receiving the digital copies of the movies I purchase is very important to me as well, and I’d be equally frustrated if my copy wasn’t included or valid. I appreciate the time you’ve take to share your observations with us. I’m sincerely sorry for my delayed response due to the holiday season, but I’d be delighted to see how I can assist you further at this time.

 

Can you please share if you’re getting these movies from a BestBuy.com order, or are you purchasing them at your local Best Buy? Movies aren’t typically items we’d resell after they’ve opened. I’m sorry to hear that you’ve received two that appeared to not be in original shrink wrap in the last few months. That is very concerning.  Moving forward you’re welcome to request an exchange at your local Best Buy, or you can contact the production copy to request the digital content with your purchase receipt information. From time to time during manufacturing a code slip may not have been placed in the case.
