Samsung Note 10 Promotion

I headed to the store in Tinley Park, IL, with the hope of being able to take advantage of the trade in offer for this phone. The promotion in the website is about $700 off with an iphone x and same day activation, or $600 off with activate later. As Im a t-mobile customer and no willing to change carrier, off course I want to activate later.
The employee that took care of me, He was cery courteous and everything, but I dont think he knew how to handle this specific situation. He said that I can only get the $300 for normal trade in, and no the $600 published on bestbuy.com.
Can I get an answer from someone knowledgeable please?

There aren’t automated answers, just responses once the team members reach your post in the queue. This forum is a way to connect with corporate and is not intended to replace the immediate assistance available in store or at our 1-888-BestBuy customer service number.

With that said, after reading over the terms of the promotion the Note 10 offer does appear to require activation onto either Verizon, AT&T, or Sprint to qualify. If this portion is not met, the value of your trade in would just be the standard trade in value based on the condition of your device.

Re: Samsung Note 10 Promotion

Hello, juapell,

Welcome to the Best Buy Community forums. The Galaxy Note10 looks like an awesome phone, and I hope that you are enjoying yours.

The trade-in promotion for that phone offers up to $700 with activation, which means that not every phone will qualify for that full value. The fine print calls out the Galaxy Note9 as being worth the $600 in trade-in, between a gift card and coupon, but I am unable to find any reference to the iPhone X being a part of that. Can you point me to where that is stated on our site so I can review it?

Sincerely,

It doesn’t matter anymore. I got my $600 from samsung.com.
