Note10 trade in offer Not Honored

I purchased my Note 10+ online as part of the preorder period on 8/13/19. I did so with the trade in offer at the time offering $600 gift card for a Note 9 trade in. I went to the store to pick up the new phone and they seemed unaware of that trade in offer. The offer I'm referencing reads in part as follows:

 

"Valid through 8/22/19 or until release date of phone, whichever is earlier. Valid only on in-store trade-in of a smartphone in good working condition. Must pre-order, trade in an eligible device and activate a Samsung Galaxy Note10 or Note10+. Activation not required for unlocked trade-in savings. Upon trade-in of an eligible device, customer will receive value toward a new device. For unlocked phones and one-time payment, this value will be a Best Buy gift card, which cannot be applied to your Note10 or Note10+ purchase. Trade-in offer does not apply to prepaid phones. $600 total trade-in value eligible with trade in of a Samsung Galaxy Note9 or newer and other select devices."

 

This is a "one-time payment", non-financed purchased so the Note9 trade in should be eligible for the $600 gift card as noted. However, the employees seemed to know nothing about this.

Welcome to our community forums. I know buying a new phone is no small purchase and trade in deals are a great way to save some money. I would be happy to help you look in to this. Did you have the chance to speak to a store manager during your visit? They would typically be able to provide the best assistance with this. To my knowledge this promotion was only available for in-store purchases. I'd like to take a closer look at this. Can you please send me a private message with your:
