Inactive ITunes Card

Purchased an ITunes card as a gift. The recipient contacted me to let me know it's not activated. Very frustrating to read that I or recipient would need to return to the store for activation. Any way to get this corrected remotely?

Re: Inactive ITunes Card

Hello Lyoness816,

We’ve been incredibly busy as of late due to the recent holiday season, so please forgive the extreme lateness of this reply! Your patience has been greatly appreciated, particularly as I understand this recent iTunes gift card purchase was meant to be a gift. While we do consider cards like this to be final sale with our Return and Exchange Promise, we are ultimately responsible for activating them properly, so I’d be happy to offer my assistance.

If purchased at your local Best Buy or through our store pick up option, we would ask that you visit the store to see if we might correct the problem. Otherwise, we might be able to help you remotely if bought online and shipped to your home. Either way though, I’ll be happy to help however I can, so I’ll be sending you a private message to gather some additional information from you before taking further action. You may view it by logging into the forum and clicking on the envelope icon in the upper right-hand corner of the page.

Thanks for posting,
