Good question! I know there are a few credit card offers available that do offer extended warranty programs for products purchased using their card. Regrettably though, that is not an option available to My Best Buy Visa credit card holders. From my understanding, Citibank, N.A. (the issuer of those accounts) also does not match offers like that either, but it does have special financing options, as well as specific reward offers.
I hope this helps,

Although the Best Buy Media Specialist seems to be saying the extending your payments over a longer period of time for a fee is similar to having no-cost extended warranty, what they're really saying is to not use the Best Buy credit card except for trivially small purchases. The 5% in bonus points does not outweigh the downside of a shortened warranty period. I've used the Amex extended warranty twice so far. Once for Bose QC20 noise cancelling earbuds ($250) and once for a Fitbit ($140). Both out of regular warranty but fully reimbursed.
