Double Billed

[ Edited ]

I was reviewing my end of year summary on my credit card and show I was double billed for an over the range microwave.  I orginally ordered and did not pick up and received a cancellation notice.  I immediately went to Best Buy to pick up and was told I had to repay for the item since the order was cancelled.  When I look at credit card statement, the same amount was charged twice 9 days apart.  Additionally on the reward/purchase history it shows only order canceled and no purchase so even though I was charged $487.31, and should have been $243.55 total neither the purchase does not appear on my history at all.  How can this be resolved?  Please refer to order number {removed per forum guidelines},

Re: Double Billed

Welcome to our community. I'm always surprised (and not always pleasantly) by the things I find in my year-end financial reviews. Blissfully, unusual things are few and far between, but they can still be a nuisance to cope with when they do turn up. I regret that you've run across one of those instances from a purchase last year.

I'd like to look into this for you, but will need some information to begin. If you will please send me a private message that includes the following, I’ll do my best to help:

  • Your full name
  • Your telephone number
  • Your email address
  • Your order number, or
  • The Customer Service PIN from your store purchase receipts

If these were store purchases, it would be helpful to have the Customer Service PIN from the cancelled order receipt as well as the new purchase receipt from when you visited after the order was cancelled.

I look forward to hearing from you.
