Apple iPad purchase denied for the reason that it cannot be price matched

How are you today?


I'm really disappointed with the manager at the Best Buy Tustin (Store 774) especially with the manager Hecto. I was at the store on Aug 22nd for a iPad pro purchase and a local store MircoCenter had the same item on sale and I requested price match. From the time the associate heard he word "Price Match", you can see the negativity on his face and body language. As a customer I can feel the bad vibe and associate interest in helping me out, but I had a hope or some comfortable explanation from Manager. After waiting for another 20 minutes, which shouldn't take that long on a slow Wednesday, a manager Name Hecto walked up to me with the same attitude as associate with no intention to resolve or help my request and said we don't match that particular local store since it is not our competitors and denied the price match. I felt the manager made its own policy and profiled the situation to denied the price match request, I called other stores to verified and they confirmed that price match should have been done. I have being Elite status with since 2012 and now I feel sad that this kind of incident makes me not so Elite or not treated well at-least at this store.

I hope voice is heard somewhere.
