I dropped my iPhone off for repair on September 12th. I was given a confirmation email and service order number and told it would take 7-10 business days. I tracked my order periodically but I all I saw was that it had been assigned to an agent. On September 27th I checked the status and it said the order did not exist. I also looked it up by phone number and got the same thing. This caused me to panic, as I am still making payments on this expensive device I want to know where it is and when I'll get it back. I've gone to the store, and contacted Apple and T-mobile as well. No one is able to give me the full information, I've had to get bits and pieces. Apparently the order is still ongoing but no one's been able to provide a new order number that I can track myself. I would think they'd reach out proactively in this case. Instead I've had to launch an investigation. To say the least, this has been a dissapointing experience.

Welcome to the forums!
It's strange to hear that you've had this happen. It's certainly the first time I've heard of it. Orders are tracked from the moment they're checked in to the store until they get back into your hands. I'd love to take a look at this and see what I can find out so I welcome you to shoot us a private message with your full name, email address, phone number, and service order number. I'll see what we can dig up from there!
