I have a Samsung QN55Q8FNBFXZA 55 inch that recently has started to show horizontal white lines at the bottom of the screen. It's happening on all sources. Minor annoyance but it should not be doing this.
I purchased this TV in Aug of 18 so the manufacture warranty just ran out, but I did pay for the GSP 2 year warranty which runs until Aug of 2020 I want to know if this is covered under the GSP. Would the coverage replace the panel if it's deemed to be defective?

Having just had your manufacturer warranty run out definitely shows the value of having the additional coverage our Geek Squad Protection (GSP) plan offers! I’m glad to hear that you purchased one.
Not being a technician, I can’t really speak as to whether or not the situation you’re describing would be covered or not, but typically, most issues related to hardware in the unit, should be covered. I would recommend contacting the Geek Squad right away to set up an appointment to have a technician look at it. You can do this by calling (888) 433-5778 here in the US.

Samsung took care of the issue and provided me with a new panel and had a tech come and replace it. This can be closed. Thank you.
