I'm going through a very simular situation. It started second week of Augest and it's almost October. A couple weeks ago they decided to go ahead and "junk out" my avr (which I was happy about). I then went ahead and made a down payment on my replacement avr to get it ordered along with a $1,200 subwoolfer. My equipment has been sitting at the store for a week and a half. They will not let me pick it up until the service center sends back my old avr to them. Only problem is that either the center refuses to ship it or they lost it. So now they are holding $1,400 credit hostage from me, while I've been without my equipment for almost two months. I don't know what to do. I've talked to everyone at the store, and they all say they can't help what happens at the service center.

Hey Gregboy83,

 

That is a lot of money to be held hostage, and after waiting this long to have a working AVR I can certainly understand you being upset with the continued delays. I assume AVR stands for Audio Visual Receiver? As in a Home Theater Receiver? Can you send me a private message with your name, phone number, email address, and service order number? After going directly to the store GM, I got what I needed. Problem has been taken care of. I just pray I never have to send anything to the service center again. They really need to provide more tracking info than what they have now. It takes days to ship something a couple states over, not weeks.
