I purchased a 50$ two year warranty on my phone. I went in to replace it a week ago and they put in a service order. I paid an additional 80$ for the replacement. I get an email the next day the phone can not be replaced so they are issuing me a gift card.
After not recieving the gift card, I called geek squad like instructed and they told me it was sent to a random email never associated with my account. They said it will take 5 days to re-issue a new one.
I have not recieved any email confirmation of this and am very concerned I won't even recieve it, after I paid you guys all this money just for a warranty and phone replacement. Geek squad had no trouble sending me all the confirmations but then somehow my gift card was mysteriously sent to a random google email not associated with anyone close to me or me.
I need this resolved, at this point my phone doesn't even work and you guys can't replace it (and I bought the warranty!)

Thank you for connecting with us here on the Best Buy Forums. I use my phone many times throughout the day, and having additional protection is a great peace of mind. Often, when electronics are unable to be repaired, a gift card may be offered to fulfill the agreement with Geek Squad Protection (GSP). If this was somehow sent to the incorrect email address, we’d certainly want to do everything we can to help.
To proceed, please send a private message with your full name, email address, and telephone number. You can do this by selecting the darker blue box next to my name below. If you happen to have the service order number handy, be sure to include that as well.
