I've seen various places. Depends on the player you have.

Hi,
What you need to do is find out where you are going to get your movies from. I do get a lot of mine off the internet, so i can't go into detail.
Find a place legally online ore buy DVD's. If you find it online, just google it, find out what format the movies will come in. Should be something like MP4, or MKV, maybe AVI.
-If you buy DVD's (always good you have a backup then) just burn the dvd using some freeware online (google dvd bunring software) and you will be able to pick what type of file you are going to make.
--note-- itunes uses protected content that needs an ipod device to view. If you have a lot of files from itunes you will need to get another apple device or find a way to get around the protection.
The Zune and ipod don't have the best of format selection. You should research Cowon, Creative, SanDisk, or Archos, . They can be cheaper than the Zune and ipod, and usually they play more file formats.
Good luck.
