Am I correct ? If I spend $2,500.00 or more, I have silver membership? Does that mean that if I have spent $3,100.00, then I get triple the points on my purchase?
Is this correct, or am I calculating this wrong?
Jeff

Taxes and any gift cards/RZ certificates are not counted in the total. Did you scan your RZ card at checkout?

I actually signed up for the card to ge the 36 months no interest. They told me after I bought the tv, to login and sign up for the points. They showed up. They were pending for the 30-35+ days.
Do I get 9,300 points now instead of 3,100 points?

You only get Triple points for your Bday when you receive the coupon in the month your birthday falls on. The RZ MC is 1.5 points on every dollar. So for example for every $100 you would get 150 points.

When do the X 1.5 points start? If I spend $3,100.00, does it start immediately and I get 4,650 points? Or does it start after the difference of $3,100.00 and $2,500.00, for which I spent and extra $600.00? That would be 2,500 points, plus 600 X 1.5 @ 900 points for a total of 3,400 points.
Which is it? In other words, if I signed up for the rewards program, I went to Best Buy, spent $3,100.00 on a tv (not including tax or anything), how many points would I rack up? I guess I would automatically be set up as a silver member at that point, but how many points would I be at currently?

Thats actually a good question. I know you make it to a silver membership as long as you were an RZ member before the purchase and you spend $2500. If you make a purchase over that amount I do not know if the silver membership perks count on your next purchase or it would start counting after the $2500. That would need to be answered by a mod on this site. I am going to go and look at how my points were added to see if I can answer this any better. As I mentioned I think this would have to be answered by a Mod. I also don't know if you called the 1-888 number on the RZ membership page.
Sorry at the moment I couldn't be of anymore help. Just realize I do not work for BB just trying to help other customers.
Just going back to one of your previous posts you mentioned that you signed up for 36 months no interest. Did you get the RZ Master card which gives 1.5 points on each dollar and that was the example I gave you for the $100 scenario or did you get the Best Buy credit card and that gives you 1.2 points for every dollar.
I was unable to check my previous point as they were over 91 days so I could not verify how my points were added.

Ok with the Best Buy Credit card that gives you 0% financing you would get 1.2 or 1.25 points for every dollar. To give you an example I made a purchase of 246.97 not including tax and I got 61.74 in extra points. I don't know if I am allowed to post that but it doesn't really give any private info about me.
I am going to mark this for a Mod to see to answer for you. Sorry I couldn't give you the answer your looking for but it is a very good question.

Hi JeffnAtlanta,
Sorry for the delay on this, however, thank you for also working with me via private message to resolve your situation.
Also, for clarification purposes in regards to the questions asked within this thread, please review the following information:
Reward Zone® program Premier Silver Members
A Reward Zone program member qualifies for Premier Silver status (and the Reward Zone program Premier Silver membership card) 31 days after the member spends $2,500 on qualifying purchases (see Non-Qualifying Purchases in Reward Zone program Rules) at Best Buy® stores or BestBuy.com during a single calendar year. Any return within 30 days of purchase that makes total qualifying purchases less than $2,500 may void qualification.
For complete Reward Zone Premier Silver details please refer to: https://myrewardzone.bestbuy.com/programRules.jspx
I hope this helps! Thanks again!!
