Coupon policy

So I really do have to ask what is the point of the reward zone coupons?  Everytime I go to use them I get back the computer is not taking them, so they must mot be valid!

I have been going back and forth on a Sony Reader or a Kindle..  Finally was slightly leaning towards the Sony, and look I get my Reward Zone coupon's in the mail..  Bonus!  NOT!  I go to pick it up and nothing, they won't accept it...  I ask where does it say it is NOT valid on the Sony Reader, they say they can't see that it isn't, but it also doesn't fall into one of the category's on the front... I'm like I need a computer to use it, so it really is an accessory to my computer.. No go...

Walk out and about to buy a Kindle...

Thanks Best Buy!

Yes, this has a sarcastic tone to it, but this is not the first time I have had problems using the coupons, I am just really tired of the run around!

Re: Coupon policy

An eReader is not a computer accessory.

Re: Coupon policy

While Nokia is right about the item is not a computer accessory, even if you have to plug it into the computer, I don't understand why they would have denied being able to use your RZ certificates...you should be able to use it....I can't find anything anywhere that says what items are not eligible to be used with the certificates other than sales tax, shipping and items such as that.

Re: Coupon policy

Yes I am, but as Miranda pointed out, there is no exclusions on the back of the coupon for a Sony Reader..

Re: Coupon policy

No, but eReader is not a category on the front of the coupon. Would you take a coupon for cereal into a grocery store and demand for it to be accepted for granola bars?

Re: Coupon policy

Also, Miranda thought you were talking about the certs you get from accruing points. She was correct about those.

Re: Coupon policy

Best Buy's name is the one on the coupon, Best Buy is the store I was in to use the coupon.  Three days prior, I watched someone use a coupon for a real book (being sold at Best Buy), the books are not listed on the front of the coupon, but taken.  So again, tell me where the categories apply?

Re: Coupon policy

If the register packages out the coupon, then that category is valid.
