This afternood i went to go and play my 360, but when i turned it on a red light was illuminated on the ring of light and i got an error screen with the code "E 74". I know i purchased a warranty for it but I am unable to find the receipt. I know they can look up such info at the store but i was wondering if there was any way to do such from the website. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Also, any one else who may have gotten RRoD- any suggested ways to go about solving the problem or repair/replacement methods?

So sorry to hear about your issue with your Xbox 360. I am a true gamer and hearing a system is down, always bums me out.
Using your email address, I was able to see you purchased a Halo 360 on 10/23/07 so unfortunately your PRP is expired. However, if I am not mistaken, you can contact Microsoft directly to take advantage of the 3 year limited warranty. I am sending you a private message with your receipt information to make it easier to obtain a copy should you need it for the Microsoft interaction.

Thats what i was afraid of...
Theres no way i can get it fixed at my local Best Buy? Especially with Thanksgiving being tomorrow, I know its going to take forever to get it back and was really hoping to be able to avoid that. :\
