Hi all!!
I purchased a laptop with the accidental insurance through best buy. I dropped my laptop and my LCD shattered, along with the the hinges broke. The wifi hasnt worked in months. I contacted HP about it and they said there was a recall on the motherboard. I was suppose to send it in after i backed up my data, but never got around to doing it. How long should i expect before I hear an answer back about it? Also i noticed on the form they gave me has 2 incorrect phone numbers to reach me, how can i have those changed?

The average repair time is 10 to 14 days, you can contact the store to have the phone numbers changed.

Hey gerardoeocampo,
Like Adamtech mentioned, it’s generally been my experience that most computer hardware repairs can be completed within a 2-3 week timeframe. It’s important to keep in mind, however, that shipping delays and part availability have occasionally been known to cause slight delays in repairs.
If you’d ever like to check the status of a repair you’re seeking through one of our retail stores, remember that you can always do so by clicking on the “Check Repair Status” link at the top of the page on www.geeksquad.com. Simply enter your service order number and zip code and you should be provided the latest information available.
I would like to provide you some additional details, so please keep an eye on your private messages (the letter icon in the upper right-hand corner of the page) for further communication.
