Probably not a big enough of a title to warrent it. Midnight openings are very expensive to conduct for the sake of a single game. Despite how big Origin is.
Personally I am going to pre-order it for PC and just download it when it is available.

Thank you for visiting our forum, and thank you for being a My Best Buy member.
While we haven't confirmed any games for midnight openings yet, we are certainly looking into the possibility of hosting events for some titles in 2014. Please keep an eye on the link below for any gaming news and updates.

Any idea what the rating on it is going to be? I showed the trailer to my daughter and she wants it for the xbox.
To me it looks like Mechwarrior getting revisited in a big way.

I would really like to see the manufactuers start to put in customizable content filters. Like FarCry 3. My daughter would love. it. But all the swearing, drug use and sex. Well not at her age. A simple filter to remove the language and some unecessary cut sceens and remove some of the more gory segments.

That does seem like an enticing option as a father of an eight year old son who would love to play more of my game collection. I'd recently turned the blood splatter off on a skateboarding game so he could play it only to later realize he was still hearing some... interesting slang in the campaign.
I imagine it would be hard to cut down on the death in a war game, but it seems like other things could be filtered. Until then, my son's content to play Swap Force!
Have a great weekend,

I don't mind my 11 year old playing the shooting games so much except when there is the language, content and excessive gore. I think games like Fry Cry 3 could be brought to a wider audience if they have customizable content controls. I know a number PC games I have played in the past can do this.
I absolutly will not even consider bringing GTA into the house.
