I started this forum becasue I was frustrated with bestbuy customer service, well I waited till today to call back and again got no resolution, the customer service rep told me that since the package has left best buy that it was up to me to track it down with the USPS to get it hurried up. My package has been in Ky for 3 days. I give up. best buy you WIN,,,,, no help at all.....not even a phone number for the USPS.

I contacted the USPS and they told me the only information they have about my package is the notifying email bestbuy sent out and that they have no idea where my package is, they also could not guarantee my package would be here by the 16th, which is what best buy told me. I contacted best buy to cancel my order and was told that they could not cancel it because it had already been shipped, but to go buy the game again and then when my game comes in to not open it and return it to the store. So the postal fee will be lost and I was not reimbursed in any fashion not even the money I am losing in postal fees and the headache from dealing with this. I WILL NEVER EVER EVER PRE ORDER ANYTHING FROM BEST BUY AGAIN, I WILL JUST GO TO AN ONLINE BOOK STORE WHO DELIVERED ITS PRE ORDERED COPIES ON TIME LIKE MY FRIENDS WHO GOT THERE PRE-ORDERED COPIES MONDAY AFTERNOON.

Yeah, it should be mailed in the box. So everyone, I believe it is decided that Best Buy fails when it comes to pre-ordering. So either pre-order from another company, or merely take the time to go into the store and buy a copy on release day.
Just a note, I found out that Fries Electronics) was selling MW2 10 bucks cheaper (at least here in my state. So we bought that on Wednesday and now I can just return the one that came in the mail ![]()

Yes, agreed. When doing a "preorder" go through another retailer.

I can't speak directly for .com support being a retail sales operator, but the number one way to make sure you get your pre-order copy is to have it as in-store pick up. Community admins will be back on Monday and will be able to give you a more "official" answer, although best I can say, is that if you had a pre-order and still don't have it if it's one of the standard editions you could go to your local store, buy it and return the copy from bby.com when it arrives. Sadly, I know most stores are out of the Hardened and Prestige editions. If your still out this far without the game I'd call 888-BEST BUY and let them know of your plight.

ok smart guy tell me this how about if someones parents work to 1:00am for a week and they ask for someone to pick it up for them but they are disabled and unable to drive and they cant trust anyone else. Then what you screw them up to wow
