computer broke, have warranty, lost receipt

So I bought my laptop from Best Buy almost 2 years ago.  I bought the 3 year, anything goes, warranty for it.  Well last week it fell off a table and the screen is broken.  So I need to bring it in and get it repaired.  Thing is, I don't have my receipt for it anymore.  They should be able to look up that I bought a warranty with the serial number of the computer or something right?  I also don't remember if the warranty was purchased with my Best Buy credit card or my regular credit card.

they will have your info, name address and phone on your system if you bought the protection service plan. just go in and walk toward the Geek Squad counter, and they will look it up for you in minutes. just give them the same telephone number you give them 2 years ago or show them ur drivers license.

ya i worked customer service for about a year and all they will do is look up your information by your phone number after that they will reprint the receipt based on the date of the purchase and what registerthe transaction was made on.
