warranty $9.99.

my mother bought a nexus s from best buy and after it was paid off, she recieved a bill for $9.99 that said it was for warranty. We're already paying for an *$8 equipment protection. can someone please explain this to me so i can explain it to an old lady.

Looks like she has sprint insurance and best buy insurance don't need both

She can call and cancel the Black tie protection, I personally like the carriers insurance better because it covers lost & stolen and BB does not.

Sprint pros: Covers lost and stolen
Sprint cons: $100+ deductible for smartphones

BBY pros: No deductible, no coverage limit
BBY cons: No replacement for lost/stolen phone

Within 30 days go to the store. After 30 days call the number Bagman posted.
