With regards to that website..... had a quick look and image manipulation is not something I want to spend time on.  There's a few laugh's, but I have other things to do with my time.

A few things I'll touch on to look for in selecting your DSLR

• lens.... the camera body will depreciate before your lens will.  Choose good lenses.
• cost.... Canon entry products are cheaper.... but lenses will cost more as you advance compared to Nikon.  Biggest example is the 28-300mm for both makers.  You save big money with Nikon.
• Canon discounts their products around Xmas, but Nikon discounts their products in the summer.  The two companies have different successful philosophies.
