To Best Buy,
I thought a TV was coming to my home and I made plans for a big party with chex mix and peanuts. I even made those little sausage balls. I just dont know what I will do now. I just cant stand the thought of watching my 1984 zenith floor model trimmed in oak. I will need to call the family and spread the tragic news that nothing is free in life and if it sounds too good to be true then it probably is. Pigs dont fly, HADES will never freeze over, and TVs listed for $9.99 always result in the termination of employment.
Who ever came up with this brilliant idea should be offered a Samsung 52" LCD TV for the unheard of price of . . . you guest it! $9.99!
Seroiusly, someone just got fired.
I understand that the pricing was mistake, but what do they plan to do to make it right? I too ordered a TV for the magical price of $9.99 and though it was a long shot I thought that the TV would still be at my door Aug 17th. In all honesty, Best Buy could at least issue a $100 gift card to all of those who actually completed the transaction, including myself.
After all, " Im not Andy, and this aint Mayberry"

Ok. So you want a free $100.00 gift card? You even just admitted it was a longshot. So you thought it was a mistake and now you want to profit from it? I don't get the sense of entitlement.
You know what they should do? Offer a coupon to the people who purchased the 10 dollar tv. Something like 10%-25% off of the purchase of a TV. Then all these people that "were looking to buy a TV", can use their coupon, and buy themselves a TV.
However this is still more than most of the people who were taking advantage of the system deserve!!!

Yes! Thats what I mean. I was thinking a discount on a TV or a gift card for all of those consumers that were actually in the market for a new television.
People should know better, bet hey, it was worth a shot.
Its sort of like big foot sightings, you hear about them but you never actually see one your self. lol

If you like my post, or solution to your issue/question, go ahead and click on the little star by my name and/or accept the post as the Solution. It makes me happy.
I'm NOT an employee of Best Buy, or Geek Squad, none of my advice is to be taken as the official stance that Best Buy will take on your situation. My advice is just that, advice.
Unfortunately, that's the bad luck of any electronic, there's going to be bad Apples... wait that's a horrible pun.
