I wish I could Sue Best Buy for terrible customer Service

Once again best buy fails,

 

If anyone has seen the sunday add for 11/7/10 there was a bundle price for 969.96 it included

 Samsung 50" class 3D-ready plasma HDTV, two pairs of 3D glasses, the new Call of Duty: Black Ops video game, and up to a $50 credit for movie titles. Pay just $969.96*! (exactly in add) NO biggy right, So I head into the store to pick it up, Was helped in the begining, Had everything pulled to the side, the movies (sherlock holmes and Ninja assain) Along with the tv was in the front for me and the 3d glass's put to the side for me. I told them I am a reward zone premier account holder and I have a coupon for every $1000 spent you get $130 gift card. (after tax so I had to spend another $30 bought an ipad dock.  They told me immedialty that they could not honor the ad, Because the game was not released yet, But when I called about it they said it will be a preorder on the reciept. (paid in full) And I explained that to them, After they said they said there was no way they could do that, They said the $130 gift card coupon was invalid an misprint or not avaliable with this order which is not true after speaking with .com orders/Corporate and my rewards zone they said it was all valid and they cannot reject the voucher. After told by the instore Operations manager (Chris) this could not happen I started to call Everyone .com/Corperate my reward zone etc etc. I was in that Geneva IL store for over 6 1/2 hours back and forth with them on the phone with .com etc. Finally got to the point where the lady on the phone with me told me that they would credit my account for the $130 to my reward zone and I said yes thank you and that they would place the order online for store pickup so I wouldnt have any further problems. I said thank you so much, (they were a lot of help vs. there instore associates that do NOT know customer service or understand my problem and kept ingnoring me and told me to call corporate!!!! So at this point the .com order has been placed I recieved the email ready for pickup etc. I come in from smoking a cig and go to the front. They tell me your tv's at the front and the other stuff is on the way. OK? right so I wait, They tell me that they dont have the 3d glass'es there on Order which is BS because they pulled them to the side for me! Then they said the Movies were on order too Thats a heap of BS because I was upset as all heck. So I walk over to the dvd section and grab both titles (they had 20+ of each) gave it to them and they didnt say sqwat. Then I walked over to the home theature and wow the glasses that were on the counter were missing I was approched by chris again sorry but there on order with a grin on his ugly face. I was so upset at that point. I was lucky enough to have a friends brother in the store that works there and he approced me and told me they took them in the back and was told to tell you that there on back order I was sooOooo upset off at this point. So I go back up to the front (since they have already charged my card for $1074.55. I tell them I want everything today! I am walking out this store with that tv with or without your help, I then called .com for help they told me to do a store transfer they said it was impossible to do no such thing, Exteamly un helpfull! So what did the associate do, she cancelled the glass'es on the order without my consent that threw off my bundle package charging my account by the computer again another $200+ another $400 in overdraft fees. Then they said oh whoops and charged it again, Only half of the glass'es got covered my my cc card and then smacked with another fee and negative from my bank. In the end they refunded my purchase again for the glasses and told me to come back in for the glasses and they will adjust the price I said yea right I am never coming back to this store. Everything I did that day was not working, I am currently trying to figure this out with best buy I have unknown charges on my account for best buy and they say they dont know where it came from. I am still missing my 3d glasses and have been WAY OVER CHARGED FOR THIS ORDER. I will give best buy one chance to make this right before it gets ugly!

Dorthey, Allan Has helped me before I dont need that much attention I was just venting, I was upset I will leave corparate to help me/ .com assistance, I apoligize I am suppose to get a call back today in referance to the charges and the service I recieveedThank you

You can sue BestBuy, though I don't suggest it. All you will do is make some lawyers richer.

You are the one that wished you could sue BestBuy. I don't want to sue the company is why.

Hi robdabest3000,

 

I know you said you didn’t need me to address this for you, but I wanted to at least apologize for how this transaction has been handled up to this point. I can definitely say that this store should not be purposefully withholding part of this bundle you purchased if they had the glasses in stock, and they should not be cancelling part of your order without your consent.

 

I did look into your order, and I confirmed that the 3D glasses with this bundle were cancelled on 11/8/2010. I show that you then purchased these glasses from a different store on 11/9/2010, and then returned them on 11/10/2010. I am sending you a private message to pass along some additional information.

Yes I bought them from that other store because I needed them but then I thought why am I buying more when I should recieve a refund for the ones I paid for in the bundle first. Thank you
