Bring Back the Monthly Coupons to all paid GCU Members!

Really taken back I was a paid member since day 1, year 1 but when I went to renew in Fall 2013, was in the "limbo" period.

Given a courtesy Feb extention but would rather have paid my $15 to have the magazine coupons until at least May.

Courtesy extention = $5.

One coupon is at least $10 and I missed out on Jan - May (5 sets of coupons...on average I would use 2 each month).

I was in the hardcopy format but was not even able to switch to digital....

Bring back the coupons!

Would any other Gamers Club Unlocked members want to see these coupons come back? Remember to vote for an idea if you like it.

It should be made clear that the coupons haven't gone away, they are simply a "legacy" benefit for those who have been uninterupted members since before last November. The coupons/magazine will go away as of May for everyone.

Personally, the magazine was always a waste of time and energy on Best Buy's part if I'm being honest. That said, I really would love to see them continue sending out monthly coupons like they do now even without the magazine.

If the coupons are to stay for GCU members, the coupons need to be made a great benefit. Maybe $5 to $10 off any accessory or PS Vita or Nintendo DS game.

@tmrendo: I ALWAYS read the magazine when I received it in a physical format. Then I passed on the issues once I was done with them to a friend for them to flip through. But once I got switched to digital when I renewed in September(right before the switch to this absurd $120 for two years bs) I never even once clicked on the link to view the magazine. Why? Because I spend enough time as it is in front of a bleeping computer screen. I don't want to read a magazine via a digital format. The only UPside to the switch to the digital format magazine for me was that the coupons worked online now with BestBuy.com sales and made for some very nicely discounted games for me to purchase. The DOWNside to this was that if there was a store only sale going on for a title, I then had to figure out where I could run to to print up the coupons to use in store since I do not have my own printer at this point due to the ink costs associate with them. I don't really care if the magazine goes away completely as it had very few articles I really fully read through even in the print version. But the coupons going away with it is a loss in value that makes the program worth wayyy less than what they're trying to charge for it now in my opinion.
